Default Frozen gerbils

Can any one tell me were to get cheaper frozen gerbils from my pet shops her have put them up to £3 each

we breed them and sell them for £2 each, to be honest they are too cheap at that price and we are knocking them on the head (not literally) so once this stock goes that will be it from us, they are just not worth breeding as nobody is prepared to pay the actual cost to produce them, my advice would be to get your snake onto something different asap

Tips on breeding, Keep them in 1.1 pairs only and expect 2-3 babies every couple of months,

you should be getting more babies than that?

i have them in trios,they birth monthly and my litters are from 4 to 8 per litter usually?

perhaps they dont lend themselves to a commercial environment very well.

As said before I would get your snakes on to something else as it seems a lot harder to get gerbils in the pet shops now. I would look in the feeder section and see if anyone is selling live gerbils as if you do get them breeding then it will save money as well.

you havnt seen my set up, lol.
maybe they`re not from very fecund lines and an outcross for new blood is needed?
