Default Aquarium????

Hi
I have been looking all over the Internet for aquariums that have a glass sliding lid or a glass hinged lid and cannot seem to find anywhere that sells them.
I see them all the time on YouTube but just can't figure out where to get them.
Would be very grateful if someone could help me out.
Thanks

Clearseal used to sell tanks without lids (we use them for turtles). Don't know if they still do, but could you not look for one of them and then make your own lid/s which rest or slide on the inside tank glass edges, which are quite wide?

They also did them with sliding glass covers and a hinged metal hood.

Ah yes, now you've said that we got a couple of metal hood for £1 each in Pets@Home's sale, and sold them for a big profit on eBay

Thanks for the replies guys.
I have had a look around and can't find anywhere that sells the clear seal tanks without lids.
I do already have an empty tank but it doesn't have any trim around the top or a brace in the middle so I have no idea how I would make a lid for this, any recommendations would be great.
I don't understand why it's so hard to find these sort of aquariums with the sliding lids over here in the uk. A lot of the YouTubers I watch are American and all seem to use these types of aquariums. Maybe they all made custom lids I don't know.

Have you tried contacting Clearseal directly?

Not quite the same but you could look at something like these clips

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Plastic-Aqu...ds=cover+glass

The glass could be cut by a local glazer and finger holes cut as well. You'd have to lift the lid off (in small sections if it's a big tank) but it might work for you?

All the custom tank manufacturers do tanks with glass sliding lids. I had my reed tank from ndaquatics and the quality is superb.
