thanks mate,the two males a have did come in very good conditon to me.i also feel it depends on how you look after your fish to get the best results.good water conditons and diet is always a good start.i have had many dull fish come to me in the past but with the right TLC you can turn them round.

its not always the case with some fish as fish farms do ten to kane the breeding in some fish.so with over breeding you dont get the results and there are many poor fish out there.i have not had this cichlids in the past,well my cichlids any way.i am sure mike will know better as he works very close with breeder.

yeah love the sal great fish,try to get a better pic later.i did see some poor sal the other day.they look like they had been in a boil wash for an hour.i ask the guy in the shop wot he was feeding them on and he said trop flake.not the best diet for them,but i felt with the right conditions you could turn them round.
