Default Triop Q's.

Where can i buy the european species and is the care the same for them?

Is this kit good?
The Netfysh

Do they need substrate, or ornaments? Or do these benefit them?

Btw ive heard the above tank is too small for even one, ive got a tank 50cm long 25cm wide. and 32 cm wide, is this ok? how many adult triops could you keep in that? and could you hatch triops out in that?

the linked tank is too small, i had 6 adult yanks (2") triops in a 25L (foot cube) tank

i reared them in a smaller container and did regula water changes as they foul it up loads, but when they were big enough i put them in the cube with a small filter

not seen euros for sale anywhere, not sure if you even get euro ones?

What about the 50cm long 25cm wide. and 32 cm wide tank? How high should you fill it for hatching them? and the species that are sold on cornish crispa (newberri and black beauty) be kept together? And can you put in moss balls from hatching?

i'd have thought they'd be fine as long as they are the same sizes and growth speeds

if u hatch them in an ice cream tub (filled with pure RO water) and float it in the larger tank which can have a heater in it (thus keeping them at a constant temp day and night) and then water changes can be done by emptying some out and re-filling with treated tap water that has been circulating in the 50cm tank thus making sure it's fine for them

if ur feeding them a non triop food like fish food mak sure u use a pellet food as they can graze on them for alot longer than horrible messy flake foods
