Default Pond Issue

I know that mozzies and knats love still water and i have found rather dissapointingly that my pond is full of lavae.

I dont want to make an expensive fuss og this pond because i only really have it for the frogs that stop on their way through and to have gorgeous water plants.

Is there a gentle non expensive way to rid my pond off them before the pupate and come and get me in the night?

You could add a few small native fish such as minnows or sticklebacks- they will eat the larvae but won't pose a risk to the frogs, and you won't need to worry about filtratiuon if there are only a few. Ring your Local Fish Shops to see if they stock small native species- more and more do these days.

as above really, what size is the pond?

it's also what goldfish were originally for in most cases, but would et a bit big really

but minnows are great for it

I'm going to say something to you that's been said to me by every person I've ever loved: I'm really disappointed in you, you are pathetic and weak, and I don't love you anymore. Get out!
