Default 675 Gallon Pond, What Filter do i need?

Hi there folks,

I have just purchased a preformed pond that will hold 675 Gallons of water, now what i need to know is what type of filter do i need?, ive heard many good things about "Oase" and "Blagdon", as cheap as possible would be great, reccomendations needed?

hozelock cyprio things are good and cheap, u can also get ones with UV's on top, i'd go for the 1000 gallon one for that one

they are cheap and chearful but gravity fed so it depends on where you want the filter to go ......blagdon do a good range of filters and they are cheaper than oase......agree go for one that does 1000 g ....can never have enough filtration imo

Do all filters need an air pump in order to make them work, or is it not essential?, and also is it possible to get a full working filter with air pump built in with out a fountain?

u wont need an air pump as long as ur filter (with water pump...) is disturbing the surface

the hozelock i have running on my 1000G pond is pump fed and gravity return

i also have 2 other boxes
