Default Help Quick please!! babys

i just bought guppies from the pet shop a week ago, just been doing a bit of tank maintenance and found 4 babys in the heater compartment in the back! i have no nursery tank set up and dont know what to do with the babies til i do? what can i do for tonight with them?
any ideas please!?

what the best thing to feed such tiny babies?

My friend has this plastic thing, you put it on the edge of the tank and it keeps the babies away from the others.

They eat fish food, like adults i think.

yeah ive seen them, wish i bloody had one now! just wondering if anyone knows anyway i can make a makeshift thing til tomorrow?? anyone?

maybe get a plastic tub type thing cut some really thin strips in the side and find a way to attatch it to the tank ?
just a suggestion lol

maybe use pegs to attatch it the the tank somehow

thats what im thinking, just wondering how to get it to stay on the tank! they are so tiny too. i didnt want to put them back in the heater compartment, but i guess they were safe in there!

lol what have you got for the roof of the tank

in my old one the flap that opened perhaps had space to fit a cable tie through , hard to eplain, or tie it to the filter or ornament or something i dunno lol

may leave them in the compartment i found them in for tonight, if i drop the water level they cant get out.
get a hatchery net in the morning and hope for the best!


anyone want baby guppies?

well they survived the night in the heater compartment! got a net hatchery this morning, so ive managed to net them all 4, and put them in there.
im guessing as it says they have tons of babys the rest must have been eaten by the other fish? or is there more to come?? says on some caresheets 60-100 babys ?
