Theres is a big transformer style plug, like you get with speakers and the like.
The other end has a plug that goes into the hub. Then each light has a plug that goes into one of 3 holes in the hub. Obviously the lgihts each have a sucker on and are moveable The hub has s switch on top and sucker underneath, the switch turns all the lights on. Wether you have one or 3 plugged in it will turn them on. What i did was plug them all in, then turn it on then plugged it into a remote controlled plug, which then i turned on and off as i wanted. Hope that clears it up a bit

I have had about 6 of these, and only one still works, you could see that water had got into one as the wire went green, but the others just don't work, not sure if anyone else has had problems with them though.
