Default Marine setup

My friend is thinking of getting a marine set up.

What sort of price with all equipment. Also what size tank is the smallest that a small collection would be recommended, im not sure what marine fish are compatible but i know he wants a clown fish so a setup for 1 of those and a few more.

Cheers

Thats such a wide statement. If you shop well You could get a fully kitted out reef nano for much less.

What does he want? Fish or fish, coral and other inverts?

that sounds a lot of money to spend on a tank but I dont know what a nano tank is?
I got my marine tank donkeys years ago, was 5' x 2' x 18" I think the tank was about £80 second hand and my brother built me the unit. I got rena undergravel filter plate, a layer of calcium plus, then the gravel tidy whatever its caled, coral sand on top and some tufa rock. had a whispa 1000 pump running 2 uplifts, power head on the other and 3x 5' lights, gro-lux, triton and atinic. I kept about 10 fish, a couple of anemnomes, boxer shrimp and a few polyps. probably had £400-£500 or so in it but havent worked it out.
