Default no change in ammonia levels still!

Still no reduction in ammonia levels and the tank has now been set up since early august. Think there must be something wrong. Should I do a full water change and clean the tank then start again?

Can you remind us all of what you have done. How are you cycling the tank? What is your current ammonia level etc?

http://www.reptileforums.co.uk/fish-...-problems.html

The story is quite a long one and you guys gave me loads of advice. To try to sumise. Tank set up august added fish (incorrectly after a week) fish did not make it, left tank a month next lot of fish faired a little better but still died (coldwater tank by the way). Since early sept I have been trying to cycle the tank without fish just pure ammonia. But there has been no change in ammonia level at all.

Sorry I did not explain myself it has been so long trying to cycle the tank I guess people had forgotten about my original posts.

I remember now. I'm supposed to post you something too aren't I. Sorry about that. Can you get some mature filter media from your shop?

What test kit are you using and what is the reading?
