sounds about right, most small anemone multiply much faster, also when they are in conditions they arnt used to (like a native nem in a tropical tank) they divide as a last ditch attempt to survive if they think they are going to die, sort of like how some jellyfish release eggs and sperm when they are close to death, quite a cool fact lol

most clowns are very easy... you don't need an amemone... i used a big conch shell for their home... they loved it... i had ocellaris clowns... i like them best... and they are cheap and hardy... a 29 gallon tank will do for a pair... get a good filter, skimmer and u.v. sterilizer... yellow belly blue damsels go good with them and complement the colors...

p.s. a powerhead is good to have too... they enjoy current... dueling powerheads are great but best in larger tanks.
