Default External Filter - Piranha

Im ready to start setting up my 200 litre tank to transfer my black piranha into, which external filter would be best to purchase ?

which are easiest and best to obtain replacement filter sponges etc etc?

Eheim. I've used them for decades and they're very reliable. You can obtain spares from LFS and online anywhere.

i have to agree, i was useing a fluvel 305 for my duo deep aqaurium didnt like them at all changed to a ehiem and was alot more effective also u can play about with the filter media and add more sponges exc, ehiem all the way

i have to agree there is alot more advanced exsternal and internal filters out there, i have seing loads of them trickle filters on youtube useing them in the states so they must be popular in the us, not my cup a tea like but wat eva works for you init
