I cant really vote on this as I think each one has the same sort of enjoyment and pleasure factor, I myself have coldwater as I have a Koi pond and to me a large koi is just as kewl as a fancy tropical or marine fish. But I would love a marine tank but jsut dotn have the time to give properly to it with everything else. So in terms of the poll they are all an equal in my eyes.

lol,

Tropical tanks are much less work and you get good quality beautiful fish

Marine tanks can be stunning but needs some serious attention and love.

Impossible to say. I'm not a fan of coldwater. A well managed reef has the potential to beat a Takashi Amano planted tank in the looks department. But reef fish don't have the character of a mahoosive glass banging cichlid.

Breeding trops is very interesting and achievable. Breeding marine fish and inverts a bigger challenge but rarely brings success. So it's 50 / 50 marine and trops for me.
