Just thought I'd point out that 400 litres is actually 88 UK gallons. 100 UK gallons works out to 455 litres.

Loveley fish but you seem to have a lot in there for that size tank. I've got a 443 litre with 4 silver dollars, 1 Oscar, 1 Severum and a Bichir and that's fully stocked. When they're all full size I'll probably need a bigger tank.

US gallons is the main volume used for retailing tanks after litres. 100 US gallons is 378 litres, so 100 gallon is about right.

There's nothing particuarly aggressive from what I can see there so I wouldn't say the tank is overstocked as long as the filtration can handle it.

No it's not. That's just what others have told you.If you increase water changes/filtration you could easily deal with a higher bioload

400 litres in us gallons - Google Search
Yeah. I have two juwel jumbo's totalling 3500 lph, and do a 50% WC each week.I haven't got around to setting up my 270gal yet, so the pearsei will have to stay where she is...Tbh it is too small for her, as she is very active - and at around 16" long.

You sure that's a she? Looks like a nice hump she's got going lol. But hey I could be wrong lol. 16" for a female is pretty unusual as well. Im saying it's male lol

I keep my pair in a 5x2x2. I've had to get one way mirror foil over the front because the male keeps trying to get at my dovii across the room lol

Hmm, could be I suppose.I haven't actually seen any other adults.Just from looking at pics/vids the males always seem to have more prominent nuchal humps.
