Great collection of fish
Hi folks, Im just remembering the fish my brother used to keep:
these were in a 6'x3'x2' and im thinking thats way overcrowded lol.
This is going back to the 80's, never seem to see a lot of these fish these days
1 synodontis angelicus (8")
1 synodontis acartamese (10-12")
1 synodontis greshoffi (6-7"")
1 synodontis notatus (8-10")
1 brachysynodontis batensoda (6")
1 pangasius sutchii (18")
1 mylossomma duriventre (10")
4 spotted metynnis x4 (5")
1 red hook metynnis
4 silver sharks (9-12")
1 hoplosturnum pectorale (10")
2 chrysichtys furcatus/aluminium catfish (10-12")
2 fire eels (12")
1 oscar (10-12")
1 siamese tiger fish (8")
He also had a 4'x15"x18" with 8 whimple piranhas, they cost a fortune! also had an agamexis pectinofron ( talking catfish) and a synodontis batensoda in with them.
He once had a 12" black shark but was not the normal species, it was more slender with a nice big dorsal and it wasnt aggresive towards the other fish.
I ended up with the syno angelicus and it died earlier this year from whitespot, he had bought it in 1984 for £67.
