convincing my dad

hi i have quite a few pets. my dad not says i am not alowed ANY more pets NOT EVEN IN MY FISH TANK.
i have already said its like having a fruit bowl with no fruit in it and a sofa but not alowed to sit on it.
how can i convince him to let me get any more fish/pets.

if hes said no id say hes unlikely to change his mind...your the best person to know what might work as you know him...but you might just have to wait

I had this problem when i was younger i belive they are just grumpy gits at times! or just as they get older sorry dad.

Any way i would just keep trying to convince him or try and get someone else in your house to side with you to try and see that it wont make a difference as its a fish tank that worked with me. what size tank is it and whats in it if you dont mind me asking?

yea if its a big tank he`s gonna think monsters,get him talking about fish and what ones he likes the most but not hinting or asking about fih while saying this
in the end hes ur dad and u must respect him and obay! and unfornatly do as he says ...


(my dad is a big softy and would say yes to pretty much anything... now my mum thats a different story dont mess with her!!!
but was nice and let me have lots of different pets, even though she did`nt like most of `em )

You're going to hate me for saying it but if its his house you live in then you should respect his rules and if he says no then the answer is no. If you go on and on and on at him you'll get him in a hissy and the answer will be the same, well it would with me anyway and you'd have a punishment for going on and pushing your luck - maybe I'm too hard on my children

Alternatively do what I would have done and get one anyway and stick it in the tank when he's out

thanks, i went on and order 65 snails any way for my tank. they are all in and he doesnt evan know i have got them ;+)

some on asked me what i have in my tank i have
apple snails
ramshorn snails
giant ramshorn snails
chuili loach(if thats how you spell it)
2x angel fish
4 neon tetras
2 scissor tails
and 1 little cherry barb(well im not sure if it is i forgot because iv had it like 4 years and all it friends have died and it doesnt it look like anything i have seen at the fish shop)

im not sure how big my tank is and i cba mesuring it now.
