Default Paid for my Marine Tank Today!!!

Hiya Folks

Paid for my Tank today and after much thought went for the "Aqua One AquaMarine 900 Aquarium" 38 Gallons.
I dont get it until Tuesday but wondered if anyone else has one and how they have found it? It seems to be all singing and dancing as the shop keeper was rubbing his hands and thinking of early retirement as I swiped my card at checkout, lol.

Thanks Dan, The tank was pretty steep and been impatient with the cycling of the water I cheated too so I have 8 Drums of 4 Gallon ready made Nutri-seawater coming too, lol. that wasnt cheap and Obviously something I cant do on a regular basis! But hey it was xmas and its better than the socks I got! So hopefully by Tuesday I will have a wonderful tank full of water, ha. Oh and no wages left!

lol be prepared to have no wages left for a long time, all marine keepers end up spending money on corals, fish, new equipment

Ive just come out of Breeding Leos so having no money each month isnt a new thing to me, lol. When I was buying for the tank I noticed a Moray eel they have in the store too, obviously they are predators and wondered what other species can live with them, the one they have is a Honey Comb about 8" Long. I know they can grow to about three feet. Ideally I wanted all the soft corals and pretty fish etc but this Moray is stunning!

lol Moray eels are stunning but unfortunatly far too big some fish recomendations i can give are dwarf angels like flame or Coral Beauty, clowns, firefish, gobies (watchman's are the best personality wise when they are paired with a pistol shrimp), royal grammas, cardinals and blennies are all perfectly suited to your tank. However i would only choose a few from the above list to keep stocking low and paramters easy to maintain any soft corals are good and once you have gained experience you can move onto lps corals like torch and trumpet corals

Hope that helps

Dan
