best bet is to feed them newly hatched brine shrimp. Nice and small and because it's live food it will exercise the babies which aids correct growth and development.
I feed all my baby cichlids this way for 1 week, then start introducing frozen and live daphnia. Then a few weeks later introduce larger brineshrimp, and increase the size until they can start hitting small pellets. You want them on as much protein as possible when they are very small because they will grow very quickly. The better you feed them now the better they will be when older. Much better looking in shape and colour.
You want to get them onto pellets as soon as possible. Much easier to regulate the amount and they are a complete diet so you can supplement with the more expensive frozen and live foods.
