Question roman gravel

been looking into black substrates and come across this stuff... does it in all colours it says.... plastic coated gravel....good stuff or gimmic?
i'll let you people be the judge and come back to me on that one..

this stuff is great keeps it colour well, but you must make sure you wash it befor putting it in you tank to get the left over dyes out just and its a resanble price imo

cheers matt... when you look on the internet sites that sell it ... it says no need to wash cos of the plastic coating... so thats what i mean about gimmic.. but if it does a good job otherwise i may well invest in some..

Id still wash it anyway, its always better to be safe rather than sorry.
Roman Gravels not bad, I still prefer the Natural colours though myself.

Handy tip: Due to it being small in size its quite good for gritting your front path if you have some left over.

path! its alright having the path clear, its the hugh hill i live on thats the problem... need a roman legion to clear that never mind a bag of gravel
