Default Happppy!

bogwood= tannis

which looks nice to some degree especially in our tanks , but the coulor was gettign so dark and even witht he regular water changes it just wasnt looking any better, and it shoudl do, because the wood has been in there a while.

Anyhow! When me and the OH dot he filters we arent always doing them together and a little bit of miss-communication means that we hadnt changed the activated carbon in the main filter for about 6 months! silly us! all the little internal filters had been changed every 2/3 months! but not the main filter.....

either way we did the water change and changed the activated carbon over yesterday! When i turned the tank light son this morning, the water looks lovely! its really taken it out of the tank! still has a nice tinge to it! but not toooo much!
Compliments our fishie wishies colours nicely!

funny thing is i did realsie that activated carbon is meant to reduce the tannis in the water till yesterday when i read the box of stuff we bought!!!

you need to change is more around every 2 weeks.

because its working overtime to remove the tannins its being used up alot quicker so it will be full. it will leach back into the water once its full.
