Default Anglefish eggs...

now this has taken me by suprise....

are they hard to care for? im googling now, but the anglefish seem to be doing well protecting them from the other fish so i may just let nature take its course!

also, as we have three anglefish... and the one who isnt mummy/daddy is getting a battering and ideally we want to remove him, as its not fair for him to be picked on, is he going to be ok on his own? As in solitary or is it wise to get more anglefish company for him/rehome him with other anglefish....

As far as i know, as soon as they hatch they will be eaten by the other fish unless you can catch them first...

that is always a possibility but if you have enough foliage for it to hide in you might get a couple of survivors.

The other angel should be moved out since he is bein beaten. Solitary is fine. Rehome if you feel the need to do so.

and do the parnets eat the young?
or are they ok to leave in?

i can move the other fish out easy enough and it is quite planted but i dont want to mess with it too much..

Good parents will look after them, but my male would eat his babies and get a good battering off the female.
