Default help please fish forums

hi does anyone know of any good fish forums to do with tropical fish that also have a classified bit as well which would be a bit more local for me to collect things,as im in bedford and everything is so far away. any suggestions and help welcome.

what sort of stuff you after?

Ultimate reef has a good following around here (I'm in MK) if your after marine stuff

I think you'll find most forums have a classifieds, but think yourself lucky your not down in deepest darkest Cornwall We have to travel everywhere to get stuff.

Check places like Aquarist classifieds

the best fish forum around is MFK (monster fish keepers), but its no way local. there very litte from the uk on there but its well worth being part of.

Its always the same innit? Whatever you're looking for is the other side of the country

MFK maybe ok for MF keepers but TBH, when one of their members is keeping a big fish in a small tank that it has difficulty turning around in, and not one member points it out, it doesn't fill me with confidence i'm afraid. You gotta be able to stomach live feeding of feeder fish. Each to their own though.

What are you after in the classifieds? If you want new stuff theres always Japanese Koi over in Henlow.
I used PFK until the forums went offline due to hackers.
If you just want to buy stuff go on Aquarist classifieds, it may take awhile to find what your looking for but then it is a fairly big site.

hi cheers for your help im trying to get myself set up with tropical fish tank at the moment i dont have anything so im trying to find all the bits i need but was just having trouble finding anything close to bedford

I had loads for rehoming, Im in Watford, like less then 30min away, fish was meant to be collected last weekend, dno whats happening about it, some equiptment gone but still have some, including gravel food medicine....Pm me if you want.

I use Tropical Fish Forums and there is a UK based part, and alot mention what area they are in before you even click on the post
