Wanted - Live Small Weaner Rat / Frozen Gerbils - Surrey

I have a beautiful male 2007 Pastel Orange Ghost Royal Python that hasn't eaten for 7 months.

He was sold as feeding dead defrost by a famous Canadian Ball Python Breeder but the records supplied clearly show that he only fed on live last year.

I explained prior to purchase that the legality of live feeding is not straight forward in the UK and was assured that the animal was a mature dead defrost feeder.

When I confronted the Canadian Breeder, he accused me of being awkward, refused compensation and ceased to communicate with me.

Incidentally, I paid him in full for two high white piebalds, but instead he sent a medium and a low claiming that it was a genuine error. No doubt he was relying on the fact that once taxes were paid and the animals were in UK I would be powerless to return them - he even suggested that the risk of safe arrivals if I returned the animals would reside with me.

Needless to say I will not be doing business with him again and if anyone is concerned when dealing with Canada - please PM me for details.

Hoping a small weaner rat will kick start his eating so that I can start the process of switching him to dead defrost.

Have had Royals go 11 months on me before but concerned as he is losing weight.

Apologies if this offends anyone's sensibilities but I am concerned for the animals welfare.
