FRUITFLIES LARGE...Ideal for larger frogs/small reps (all £2.25 per pint pot size)

Common Black Hydei (Drosophila hydei) - Is unable to fly and a main food source for large darts.

Golden Hydei (Drosophila Hydei 'Golden') -Unable to fly. An American morph of the above black hydei.

Drosophila funebris - Slightly smaller than the hydei. Is characterised by the red eyes.


FRUITFLIES SMALL... Ideal for hatchling frog and or reps /small frogs (all £2.25 per pint pot size)


Tukish Glider Melanogaster - Vestigial-winged glider but unable to fly. Half the size of hydei. Very productive.

Wingless Melanogaster -Small, wingless 'ant-like' brown Fruitfly.
Slightly smaller than above. Very productive.

Small Curly Winged - Vestigial-winged glider but unable to fly, can hover for a few seconds. Slightly bigger than the wingless.

Buzzatti - Vestigial-winged black fruitfly. A species to fill the gap between hydei and Melanogaster.

Mulleri - A small, wingless ant-like dark fruitfly. can grow larger than the mels

Melanogaster (flying) - Vestigial-winged glider able to fly. Slightly bigger than the wingless. Red/orange eyes

BEETLES...

Bean Weevils - Up to 4mm in size. Feeds on black-eyed beans so high In protein. Food source for larger darts or small/med reps £2.50 or 3 for £5.50 (crix box size)

Grain Weevils -2-3mm in size. Feeds on Grain. Ideal for thumbnail darts, other small frogs or small reps £4 (crix box size)

Confused Flour Beetle -3-4mm long, slender beetle. Feeds on flour. Ideal for smaller frogs or hatchlings £4 (crix box size)

Mini-Mealworms (flour beetle lavae)- The part grown lavae of the mealworm. Oo

Regular Mealworms (flour Beetle Lavae) - Fully grown lavae of the flour beetle. OoS

Mealworm culture - Inc mealworms,'aliens' and beetles £4


WAXWORMS (Waxmoth Lavae)... £5 per starter culture


Lesser Waxworms (Achroae grisella) - Up to 15mm long. the smaller lavae is ideal for feeding froglets, and the fully grown adults can be given to med-large darts - moths can be given to adult frogs/reps

Greater Waxworms ( Galleria mellonella) - Up to 30mm long. Smaller lavae ideal for hatchlings and fully grown lavae ideal for adult reps - moths can be given to reps or £2 per pot

Small White (seira) -Up to 3mm long. Prefers room temp or above.

Common White (Folsomia candida) -Up to 4mm long. Prefers room temp. Can jump.

Pink Tropical - 1-2mm long. Temp 25-30 deg c.

Blue Tropical - 1-2mm long. Prefers room temp. Can live alongside mites in the cultures.

Black - Up to 6mm long. Prefers room temp

Dwarf White tropical Woodlice - (Trichorhina tomentosa) Up to 6mm. Soft bodied woodlice. Crawls around substrate. Good viv cleaner. Slow to breed at first but then explodes. Ideal for most darts and frogs

Dwarf Striped - Grows up to 6mm long. Fast moving. Ideal for most darts and frogs

Brown -Grows up to 10mm. stays on surface for most of time. Are extremely fast moving

Common European grey-Grows up to 15mm. Hachlings are ideal for food.

Common European brown -Grows up to 15mm. Hachlings are ideal for food.

Orange -Grows up to 15mm. Are bright orange in colour.

ROACHES...

Dubia Roaches - A roach that is slow moving and easy to handle from 5-55mm. Very high protein content and ideal for a vast range of reptiles and amphibians.

Lobster Roaches - Lobster Roaches are a small, fast, climbing, brown cockroach - measuring about 30mm when adult. Although they have wings Lobster Roaches can not fly.

hello i think these are what i need Dwarf White tropical Woodlice - (Trichorhina tomentosa) .... all i know is they are tropical woodlice..

for my giant snail tanks to eat left over food and keep it cleaner... will they be okay with the snails? would they eat any eggs layed if i do not spot them to take them out?
oh also would they help out with my dam fruit fly problem? even eat the eggs/ larve?

how much for around 50? and 1st class postage after postal strike...
