Hi everyone,
I am looking to start my own dubia colony for some beardies ive just bought (only babies, so ive got a few weeks to look and build it up) I will consider any number/colony size. Females will be prioritised over males, but complete colonies of a good size are what i am ideally after. Thanks Karl PS: i am based in bournemouth, am willing to travel up to 20 miles for good sized colonies or it will need to be delivered/couriered. |

Its to feed 2 adult beardies and 4 babies at the moment, so i need mainly adults, but a few smalls (so i can feed them straight away to the babies whilst i wait for the adults to breed)
Around the 150-200 mark i would imagine. Karl |

Have you tried www.roachshop.co.uk ? It's going to take a long time for 150 - 200 to establish enough to feed from.

Ill take a look. Arent they the samepeople as internet reptile (who told me they are not selling dubias for a while to increase their breeding stock)
the way i see it, 150 (with 90% females) will produce a good amount. Half will be used as feeders and half kept for re-using. The beardies wont be living completely off roaches for another few months yet anyway. Thanks for the link. Karl |
