Default Dubia Roaches - Small Colonies Available

We have small colonies of Dubia Roaches available for £20 posted 1st Class These are one of the best feeder insects for spiders, scorpions, Bearded dragons etc

A small colony will consist of a tub containing:

10 x Adult Females
10 x Adult Males
50+ x Mixed Juvis 1cm - 4cm

With these you will soon be able to get your own colony up and started however the more colony's you buy the quicker this will become established

We have many colonies available

Dubia roaches are a long lived species living 2 -3 Years. The females (which are dark with orange spots) give birth to 20+ live young (about 1cm) per month
These are best kept in a large tub with egg flats stacked vertically. I would suggest keeping these at 30-35 degrees centigrade and completely dark. The warmer they are the more they will eat and the quicker they will grow and breed.

People often think roaches are a pest however this only applies to certain American and German species. These are a tropical species and so if they were able to escape (which they shouldn't as they are non climbers) then they would not survive for long in our climate.

I always used crickets as feeders but found them noisy, smelly and escape artists. These guys are the complete opposite with very little odour, no noise and no escapees

They are best fed on a high protein diet like cat food or varied cereals and for moisture I use oranges or water crystals

I would recommend allowing atleast 2-3 months before feeding off of these and never use the females as they are too valuable. I often use the mature males for feeding and both my tarantulas and bearded dragon love them. They also have a much higher nutritional value compared to crickets.
Dubias also will not attack your pets as crickets sometimes do
So don?t delay, convert from crickets today!!! I guarantee you wont be disappointed and you will never look back

If possible, when paying by paypal, if you could please send the payment as personal and marked as a gift I would be most grateful as this will save me paypal charges which enables me to offer these at such a good price.

Please also advise me of delivery address

Cheers
