2nd post, somebody must know how to???

Hi,

When I upload a pic from my PC to my pic profile the pic is displayed, then I click on save changes, then I click save changes again because I'm happy with the pic, I then recieve a message saying "upload of file failed"
Then pic is the correct size etc.

Can anybody help or put me in the right direction please.

You cannot upload pictures straight from your PC to the forum. You need to use a hosting site like photobucket, and use the link from there.

Upload the pics onto photobucket. Edit them if you want. Then copy and paste the[img] code on to the post you want it on. Then when you make the post the pic will show up.

Sorry to be a pain, but I want to post a pic on my pic profile that will appear at the side of my name on the forums.

Is it the same process using photobucket?

You can upload Avatars straight from your PC.

Thats what I've tried to do, but keep getting message "Upload failed".

I've checked the pic is the right size etc, it displays the pic but when I click save changes the message upload failed appears? and the pic isnt at the side of my name.

Any suggestions?

Kick the PC then give it the lucky tap on the monitor...this sometimes works

what's the file extension?

• is it one thats supported?
• is it a .bmp and larger in file size rather and pixel size thats allowed?
