How about a chat room?
Hello all. As u can see i am new to this site so i don't know if this has been brought up before so here goes. I am a member of a few other sites that seem to have the same layout as this one, the only difference seems to be is that in the options above, the ones that start with 'User CP', there is a chat button that takes you straight to a chat room where you can chat with other members on the site. The chat rooms come in especially useful when you need quick advice as you can just pop in and ask a question and usually someone can help you. Apart from that, things like quiz nights and other activities are held along with good some good old chinwagging (or key tapping). Just a thought guys. What do you think?

I suppose one of the main benefits of a forum is that everyone can see your question and respond with their views. If you got talking to one person who thought they knew it all, then you could end up taking some bad advice.

I use a forum with a chat box and I think this forum is simply too big for it to work. Also people tend to just chat away in the box and not really use the forum as much

i think it would reduce posting a lot, but as kat says, on her forum it seems very good.
i quite like it, but the thought of not posting much hurts me so much

Wouldn't that just make it harder for the mods? They will have even more to watch over then.
I am all for the idea tho, i love gossiping on here and it would be good to be able to just gossip with loads of peeps at once
