Rogue Traders
I'd like to suggest a mimimum post count to be able to trade. I have seen a couple of traders who look dodgy to say the least and have only registered on here to buy and sell.

But some of the more experienced breeders who are very good may use other forums or not go on this forum much, yet they could be more trustworthy than someone with 3,000 posts.

Agreed, but many people register on here just to trade, which is not really a community attitide. If they are traders they should pay/apply to sell as a trader with the mods. In many cases the dodgy sales are not even animal related.

I have traded with a couple of people off here with posts counts only in the tens. They only come on to trade. Yet, they are perfect sellers. Got my gorgeous BRB of someone with a low post count.
I think making a minimum post count rule before trading would just encourage spamming and lack of sales?

I agree with Fly 100 posts minimum so as to avoid scammers.
Reputable breeders are mainly already here, and if not im sure it could be got around by three references maybe from established members trusted by the mod team.

Personally I dont think It worth the hassle. Maybe people who want to trade here with low posts will just put silly comments everywhere just to get the 100 posts.
If you try to trade with anyone, first just ask a couple of questions about the animal, and you will see how good or trustworthy the seller is. But the best way to check the trader is to ask for a reference.

RIP  GRATE PICS  NICE!!!!!  Sorry for your loss  its easy to get to 100 meaningless posts in no time.. Look at Teeny, she's got 46,001 posts and a tortoise but never posts in the shelled section
