Multi accounts
Why do people get permanently banned for having two accounts on the same IP address? There are two account on this IP address for me and my girlfriend. (I let Trice know in advance of this!!!) If it is a matter of things getting too congested on the server, then why aren't some of the inactive accounts deleted?

People don't get banned for having two accounts on the same IP address as long as they are two separate users... there are many users who have two or even more people using the same address.
If a user creates a second account (for themselves) then we ban the second account... only one account per person is allowed for reasons I'm sure I don't need to go into. There are times though when people create a second account for a genuine reason... the main one being that they want a change of user name and think that is the only way to do it. We then explain that we can change their original user name.

Snakes_are _grreat, yes it is active coz snakeprint is my girlfriend, and she wanted to be able to long on here!!!! I told trice ages ago so i wasn't banned!!!
Reason for asking is that Barney (originaly herper666) made a second account coz he wanted to change his name. He sent a text to me saying that he couldn't access his account and it said he was never allowed to log in or something. Maybe a mod could send him an email saying he can still log in as herper666. Think he tried to change his name to Demon reptiles or something.
