I dont feel that the Forum Feedback system is sufficient.

I have left negative feedback in the past and the person then left negative feedback for me, but what he stated was a total lie and untrue.

I have just left negative feedback again but looking at the persons past feedback they have left negative feedback for someone in response to negative feedback and so I now think if they do respond I will just recieve negative feedback for the hell of it.

Ebay had recently changed its feedback processes to prevent things like this, I feel that the Forum feedback system needs some updating, also I think that feedback should be restricted to only true statements rather than personal attacks.

There is alot of scamming that happens on here and I feel it would be alot more controled if the feedback system was a little more effective, also people should be able to leave negative feedback without the fear of thier own feedback score being effected by retaliation.

At the end of the day, we are only supplying a platform for people to sell. We do not make money out of it like e-bay, and we are not the police. The i trader facility was introduced to help people as a guide only, not to be the holy bible of the classifieds.

I see a lot of people jumping into deals very quickly, and I do wonder if they have done any real research into the person they are buying from. There has been more scamming going on, as the forum has grown, but we are usually the last people to know about it. Very rarely, do people leave negative feedback, or contact us, until it is too late.

We have also had long term members who have not come through on deals the way they should have, how are we supposed to know about them?

In regards to the feedback you left today, if you receive negative feedback, you are of course more than welcome to report it. I would point out, you are only the 2nd person to leave that user negative feedback, and so 1 neg feedback, out of the rest of their positive feedbacks, would not have started alarm bells ringing in our heads.

In regards to the negative feedback you were left, in response to feedback you left a month ago. I had a look to see if you had reported it, and couldn't find anything? We are never going to remove negative i trader if no one reports them. It also needs to be remembered, we are sat behind computer screens here, we are not involved in these deals, and we will often get 2 very different stories from both parties. How are we expected to know, who is telling the truth?

We do remove people’s access to the classifieds sections, if we receive multiple complaints about them, and we do monitor those people to check that they do not create new accounts.

I think people need to be a lot more careful before they jump into sales, look up the sellers/buyers more, and also be more careful about how they pay for them.
