bumping a locked thread

i just upgraded my account and noticed that you can lock your own threads. i thought this would be handy especially in my classifieds adds to stop all the useless comments and dreamers.

I thought i would be able to get back into my thread to bump it or edit it but it seems as though that isnt the case ive seen a few people bumping locked threads but i cant seem to be able to....................any ideas?

As per the PM (just replied) the 'close thread' on a thread you have locked should change to 'open thread' so you can reopen it..
