Classifieds like 18+

may have been surgested before and if so i appologise,

but i really belive that the classifieds should be like 18+ with a minimum post count (25 maybee) and invite only

this may add alot of work for the mods, but hey ill take the job if needed lol.

just with the ammount of scammers on the forums ATM and members just joining to sell stuff it may be something to consider in the future thats all

ive seen it in place on other forums, and it seems to work

problem with post counts is it isn't hard to bump up your posts. Just a lot of on threads or in the newbie section.
You don't even need to post anything in the normal sections to get a post count, you can just chat crap in off topic and build up a post count high enough.

25 posts on somenes account can be read in what? 3 mins max?

seems like an excelent 3 mins spent checking for someone saying "yesh cool pics" "yeah id do that" or "lol" every 10 mins to save someone loosing £500 on a royal that dont exists, then a 3 month battle with paypal to get money back

I still don't think that an 18+ section would be fair.. a lot of innocent people would miss out just because they're younger =/
And most of the "scammers" are probably over 18 anyway.

i dont mean you have to be over 18 to enter, just have to have a certain ammount of posts and ask to gain access

i think he just means LIKE gaining access to the +18 section, you need to have a certain ammount of posts + be a memeber for a month. To be honest it wouldnt work and if you look at most the BIG scams the scammers are 5* members with like 10'000 post count, anyone can be a scammer in my opinion which is why i dont trust rep system's, age, post count or any other useless junk put there to ward off scammers.

Gut instinct serves you much better.

aint seen a scammer yet with a high post count.

most are about 300 however i do agree with premium membership

fact is people bitch and moan when they get scammed, this could serve as a nice deterrent
