iv done the compass one and its quite good, basic tho(equivelant to a scottish higher) im currently doing their keeping exotics course and thinking about signing up for the home learning animal care course at baroney college. the compass herpetology one all in with registration fees ect costs £300 but i got ILA scotland to pay £200 of it.. also proteus reptile trust do courses too but iv not tried them. iv done alot of research on courses like this because i cant actually go to a college/university and do it properly and ill forget to look at this thread again so any other questions pm me

i've looked in to a lot of these...

the compass one looks by far the best one.. and their customer service is apparently really good. i've heard only good about them.

proteus on the other hand, take forever once they have your money, the courses aren't accredited, and the level of 'qualification' is supposed to be level 2, ie GCSE, but the things they marked you down on were ridiculous.

so Compass FTW for me!

I study with the OU but if you spot a good course anyway, check and see if it's eligible for the ILA to give you £200 towards it!

Wouldn't bother with Proteus, theres alot of people on here who they never even back to regarding payments, course content etc. Dont fancy them trying to teach me stuff when they cant even organise themselves.

If you want to do one id go for Compass.

I've done them both. just completed the advanced exotics course.
Both benefit you quite a bit if you are looking in to getting a specialist reptile related job
