Question anyone know about light fittings?

so bulb holder has rusted in an old viv i have and i want to get a new one so it's up and running
ive seen the arcadia heat lamps but with screw fitting
im looking for something that is bayonet fit
with something to attatch it to the side of the viv

i found this

need it with lead but bayonet fit
anyone know anywhere online that does them?

you can pick up an ES to bayonet converter for a few quid, maplins, electrical stores, ebay

or just nip down to B&Q and get a bayonet holder.. or if you want one on line Ebay or Maplins etc

Beware of some of these - I got one off ebay it was bayonet to screw converter and the damn thing started to melt (and that was in my dragon's viv)

In my sav's viv as the basking area has very high temps (150+) I use the porcelain fittings (maplins).

yeah good point.. make sure they're strong enough to withstand higher temps.

the one that came with this viv has started to crumble probably due to high temps, so want to make sure it's done properly
