Default Incubator i made.

Hello.

I was given a surpise a few days ago. 2 gecko eggs. At the moment they are incubating in the viv, which drops below 80 so i followed Glasgow Gecko's tutorial for a aquarium incubator (useing thing untill i can afford an incubator!) and i just made it waiting for the water to reach 85.

this is an old fishtank i found in my garage. Looks crap, but hopefully it will do the job.

Here are the pics. Do you think they would hatch in this? or just leave it in the viv. will be moving it all about soon ect. make the tub there in at the moment abouve the water.

What your opinions.

thanks

might be stupid but having heater gets hot on one side ? small pump needed to circulate ?

they are in a cricket tub filled with damp moss which is sitting on the brick. I've removed quite abit of water out of it.

i only have one heater. Were would be the best place to put it? the eggs are close to it. Not ontop but close. Oh i didnt think of that. I dont have a pump, it broke when my dad was packing the tank away about 10 years ago.

Should work ok. The heater/thermostats tend to work better the more upright you can get them. Also using polystyrene tiles taped round the sides and underneath helps to insulate it and will keep the temperature more constant.

I've moved them out as the heater has stoped working. I think it burnt itself out.
