My mother lost my green iguana over a week ago outside, would she still be alive and are there any tricks to coaxing her back home?

have you rang round all the rescues centres?
have you called the police?
im guessing she would of been found by now if she went wandering.
but she could also of found a dark place and fallen asleep.
i very much doubt she would of survived a week outside its far too cold for her.
i would do some ringing around and see if anyone has found her.
have you put up posters etc etc??

wish you loads of luck in finding her.

ok....depending on the way she got out i would try and guess where she would of gone next.look under bushes, trees,in holes etc

there is of course the chance that someone has found her and kept her.
maybe place an ad in the local paper

how old was she and how big?

may sound silly but might be a idea to go out at night with a torch a stehy are diurnal so sleeping at night so she wont be on the move she will be sat someone which might make it easier but just gotta try hard to spot her from the leafs and stuff

the previous owners kept my rescue iguana outside over the very harsh winter we had... they are more hardy than people think....

Hope you find her/him soon
