very interesting. Well my female Iguana had to undergo several surgeries due to follikel problems. I can say that she had pain afterwards but also recovered quite well and quick from these operations. After one surgery she went into the conversatory of the vet in the morning and ate some plants (he was not my regular rep vet and it was urgend) so he was not very prepared with adequat reptile accomodation over night. she survived and lived long after
so what I notices is that they can put up with a lot more pain than we can. we would sit still or try to move as less as possible and avoid using our broken hand. they just limp a bit and that is it (from my experience only). Stella |
