Blimey, poor kid!
Only thing we had to worry about when swimming as kids was not to get caught up in weeds or shopping trolleys.

Wait, so they are trying to re-attach the limb AFTER it had already been swallowed by the alligator? Wont it be all half digested and what not??

they got to the arm immediately.. they're just worried about infection setting in...

Ah right... well I hope the kid gets his arm back ok! It would be pretty cool to say 'my arm has been inside an alligators stomach'!
