I enjoyed watching it, but after watching last night's final episode I felt totally anti-climatic. I think they spent far too long on the climb up the mountain and hardly any time on what they found when they got there!

I was disappointed last night that we were told so little about what they found and apart from the Anaconda they featured no reps or amphibs, even though they were cataloguing frogs and lizards in their tent, so they found them. I kind of expected that they would tell you about what they had found that they hadn't specifically featured at the end of the series, but they didn't. Also I thought it was a great shame that, having spent so long climbing that mountain that they only took 3 days food. I was desperate to find out what animal left those tracks.

It all seemed to be about the mountain climber naturalist climbing the mountain, the bug enthusiast finding loads of bugs and spiders that we know exist, the monkey woman sitting hours in a tree looking at monkeys and the photographer wanting photos of giant otters

Yes, definitely a little anti-climatic!

Yeh, but did you see the guy on "The Wright Stuff" a couple of days ago. He was climbing in Wales and fell and broke his spine! He's still on crutches and said he was most embarrassed to have climbed that mountain and then fell off one in Wales!!!

my point about saying they didn't feature it is that they released the shot to the tv review mag and it was printed twice they should have printed a howler monkey or something else. one shot on the desk and another in someone hand in passing wasn't feaaturing.

the eagle was cool as it was really rare and eating a monkey, but they showed animals that we knew, and didn't spend much time on the random frogs and lizards like someone else said.

Why when they had access to the helicopter to take shots of the woman sitting in tree and pan over the river and mountain, why did they spend so much time and risk falling.

I thought the hole point they kept HARPING on about the program being an investigation on how valuable the forest was and to document how many new spieces they could find.
Bit pointless as we all need trees for the removal of Co2 and addition of O2 in simple terms, so the government was/is/should be thinking about subserdising this kind of project any how and start to look after the future of the plannet, they should stop helping everyone to this that and the other ,if WE who pay the taxes can't breath(e...spl) we all know how invaluale the forests are irrespective of livestock.
