Default Weighing? What kind of scales?

Seems like a stupid question but what kind of scales do people use to weight their snakes / whatever and how do they do it?

I'm just thinking I could buy a small set of digital scales but then need to stop the animal from moving off the top.

Alternatively pop it in a bag and suspend it from a scale?

Cheers

Rob

Digital scales. Place an empty tub on the scales and then "zero" the meter so the weight goes back to zero. Place the snake in the tub and whatever the reading on the scale says is the weight of your snake.

we use some big digital ones that are mains powered.. they can weigh up to 25kg.

so we can weigh the bigger snakes, in a plastic bin!
