I had far fewer reps before my missus than now, and we were okay through the whole lot. The only thing we really struggled with was our rabbits, so we got rid of those.

I only had cornsnakes while i was pregnant and they're pretty low maintenance at the best of times, lol
when my little girl was very small it was hard work but provided me with valuable 'time out', since she turned a year old I've added 5 more snakes to my collection and cope fine. i think it depends on the snakes though, I had a very aggressive ratsnake and was so paranoid about 'what if it got out??' i just had to get rid of him. hope this is some sort of help to you angel, you can always PM me!
