Question credit crunch

There seems to be a large amount of collections for sale at the moment for various reasons but was just wondering if the so called credit crunch is the underlying factor in this?

I think a lot of people with medium to large collections are cutting down to some extent soley to do with the credit crunch , whether directly or indirectly it affects most of us in one way or another MM
