Default Resin Bowls

They're crap!

Just got in from college and the second large bowl I've had has cracked and leaked and my viv is like a swimming pool.

The corner of the viv bottem left has swollen and taken on a little water. Basically I just wondered if there's anything I can do to stop the wood rotting?

Although them bowls look naturalistic they are a pain in the and are heavy to keep lifting out all the time. I'm getting a dog bowl tomorrow.

What does the bowl look like? I wanna stay clear of them lol

The wood shouldnt rot if it dries out completely, its when you have constant moisture that you have a problem

I take it you never sealed your viv up then? Sorry but I can't offer any advise on wood rot.
Anyway I would have to agree I'am not a big fan of hides and food bowls that are made for reptiles as they break easily(hides) and the food bowls are only good for mealworms . Was it an exo-terra water bowl you were using or something else(get some pics).

How did the water get into the wood then?
I think Nebbz meant it SHOULDN'T rot because she said "as above" and the comment above said "The wood shouldnt rot if it dries out completely" .

I know what Nebbz meant, I was kidding. And the water must have gone under the seal.
