Practical tips for quarantining multiple animals?
I'm looking for practical advice on how to properly quarantine multiple animals from multiple sources at the same time (for example, 5 corns from person A and 5 corns from person B, etc). I seem to be getting more and more reps and I want to practice good quarantine since my collection is substantial enough now that I certainly wouldn't want an outbreak of anything, but I'm not sure how best to do it with multiple batches of animals, a batch being a number of animals from one source. Like, should I have each batch in a seperate quarantine room using seperate tools, should I wash hands & tools between animals in the same batch (that would take a huge amount of time so if it's not necessary I'd like to know), and also how long to quarantine for, and any tests I should get done even if they appear healthy (and how much that would cost). So, any advice on how to do it with lots of animals from different sources is welcome!
