the princes trust are paying for me to do the Herpetology course...
and need to know who to make the cheque payable to..

don't just want to presume it's proteus ltd, or whatever...

i've emailed proteus, and haven't heard back from them.
and can't get through on the phone.. it's always busy

they need to know asap... so does anyone know who the cheques are made payable to?

Hi there, I'm just waiting to hear back how I did on the Correspondance version of the Foundation Course. I'm 99.9% certain that I made the cheque out to Proteus Reptile Trust.

You could try emailing at this address: sarah@proteus.uk.net as I seem to get replies from Sarah where you don't from from the info@proteus.uk.net address.

I haven't tried phoning them for a long time (had the same problems that you are having) but it does say they are having probs with the phone on their website and it suggests an alternative number: 07710 378886 (just in case you haven't tried that one already)

I too found that they can be very elusive to get hold of, but I have enjoyed the course - got my fingers crossed that I get the results back soon

the NVQ level 2 can be done as a home study / correspondence course... so you should be ok to do that one
