Talking are dubia roaches easy to breed

thinking of breeding dubia roaches for my lizards..

do they lay eggs or live little roaches?
what do i feed them?
what can i put them in?
how long do they take to hatch, the eggs?
do i have to have a heat source for the roaches?

I'm pretty sure they give live birth.

We feed ours:
Fish food
Spring greens
Apple
Carrot
Cucumber
And any other veg we haven't eaten

We keep ours in custom modified 9-litre Wilkinsons "Airproof" tubs that we cut two windows into using a hot knife, one in the top and one in the side - these windows we cover over with fine mesh (we buy ours at the arts and crafts shop, it's an armature mesh, flexible and VERY fine so babies can't escape).

It'll take several months for a colony to get going.

Yes, they very much appreciate a heat source - kept at normal room temperatures they might survive but they won't breed.

It entirely depends on the lizard. Some lizards are quite happy to eat them, and some would rather not touch them. You ought to try getting a tub of dubias as feeders first and make sure your lizards WILL eat them, unless you want to keep Dubias as pets!
