Default career in exotics

i was wondering what course of education and experience paths to take if i want to be a exotic/herp vet if this is in the wrong place just move it and any help would be grateful also any good sites with information/reading about veterinary procedures?
p.s still in 2ndary school so no big rush

Vet = veterinary course/school at university. Standard entry grades are 3 A's at A Level in science based subjects ie maths, chemistry etc. Pretty intense stuff but definitely worth it.

Some work experience at vets practises will definitely be worth while as well.

Wages for being a vet now are shockingly pretty poor compared to the amount of work you do.... better off being a doctor really.

I dont know, got a friend on 50k a year has been given a car and 4 bed house by his practice and doesn't have to pay the bills for it. Basically thats 50k pocket money.

Even so 30k, free house and free car is hardly to be sniffed at!

Obvious OP wants to work with animals so whats good saying doctors earn more? Sure pilots do as well.

Zoo keeper = £14k-£18 depending on experience and thats before taxes. So yes damn sight more.
