No worries, any time. Just to say I aint selling these so have no reason not to be truthfull. Roaches are far better, cleaner, quieter, more nutricious and safer than cricks. I thinck cricks are horrid things and will be glad to be rid of having to use them.

I got mine from a guy in the UK. I only found a couple of ppl who do them, a lot less than do lobsters. I think Rick might do Blaptica Dubia too, you'd have to ask him. AFAIK lobsters mature quicker than mine, but they can climb which put me off them. If Rick doesn't do them or if you want it, let me know and i'll send you the email of the guy i got mine from.

thats what I thought.. non climbers and none flyers would be excellant! Then I know I can contain them....

I'm gonna ask rick and perhaps get a batch of both as a tester, see which I prefer and then get a load. That way I can check my rep will actually eat um and all....

Like the thought of lobing 15 or so in each day for them to chase knowing they won't do any damage!

Lobsters can climb but vaseline will stop them, they are extremely prolific. On another reptile related forum I use, someone was trying to create a lobster colony to feed two beardies, he let the colony grow until about 2000 and then they bred so much he couldn't feed them off in time, he has 10,000 now and is trying to give them away

Btw gaz.. leaving them in the viv would still stress your beardies out a lot, and if they constantly have roaches in their viv, they might not want to eat when you put more in.

You obviously havn't meet my dragons!

I know what your saying but between them they generally eat 30 or so crix every other day so throwing 10 in each morning should do it... If there are any left obviously not put more in...

I would like them to be a little more active in catching there food.... the one has become very lazy and will wait for you to move it in front of her nose!

I know exactly what you mean, My adult male walks over to eat cricks, is a bit quicker for locusts but he runs to catch roaches. He shocked me with his speed the first time I fed him roaches, lol. Roaches move a fair bit so it attracts the beardies, but the dont jump like cricks or locusts, which I guess makes it easier to catch them.

LewB. You wouldn't need that many adults, There most have been quite a lot of nymphs. I think you mate went to the other extreme lol and got too many adults, wouldn't fancy being over-run by them. With the adults I have, I'd guess I have about 300-400 Nymphs. I will let a few grow to adults but most will be feeders. If your mate is giving them away, maybe Welshgaz should talk to him.

I have them in a plastic storage box, about 30-40l. You'd get a decent amount in a tub that size, They seem to prefer being huddled together rather than spread out. Mine seem to congregate together
