Anyone now of any sites, that show you how to build vivs?

they aren't too hard , just look at a normal viv and copy it depending on what shape and size you want. generally, say it is a 4ftx1ftx1ft viv. 3 bit or 4ftx1ftx1ft 2 bits1x1 and 2 strips 4ftx what ever size you want to hold substarte. then some glass runners and glass. easy!!!

well i am a teen lol
my dad was ment t help me make one today (hes a builder), and then turned out to be next week end, this sat and sun, now hes working, so F*** im i am making it on my own, maybe my mum help lol
But its not just 1/2 vivs, its shelves, couple vivs, and dat it actualy, i could make it on me own i might do at week end!

also were do you get glass from, oh yeh local glaceourse SP sorry, ok, will need to find one first!

yeah it doesn't coast much at all. my local glass cutters charge me around £4.00 for greenhouse glass 24" x 20" and they sand the edges to run smoothly. you can get runners from vivbuilder or ebay

I would really recommend getting toughened glass, depending on what you're keeping in it.. but remember that if non-toughened glass is knocked or dropped it will shatter. If broken inwards it can leave jagged edges which could seriously injure either you or the animal.

Toughened glass is designed not to do this if it breaks, it leaves an impact mark but the glass remains in tact (usually)

well i will need TOUGHENED for my ackie, and prob toughened for the royals and boas!
